Description: Let Northland Discovery Boat Tours take you on a magical journey of giant ice castles and majestic sea creatures as you tour an area frequented by more whales and icebergs than anywhere else in the province. Then, take a journey back in time as you visit Norstead Viking Village and experience what it was like to live as a Viking.

Additional Info: Boat tour runs at 9am, 1pm, and 4pm. It is recommended that customers book the 9am tour because it generally has the best weather. In the event of bad weather, you may be able to enjoy the tour later in the day and visit one of our historical sites in the morning. You must check in for boat tour 15 minutes in advance of departure. Please bring clothing suitable for boat tour. Motion sickness medication is recommended for people susceptible to motion sickness. Please inquire ahead of time about adding extra persons to your tour.

Due to Parks Canada payment processing restrictions, we are not able to provide advance admission to L'Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site. Guests must pay upon arrival at the site.
